As fall approaches its time to start breaking out with the warm and fuzzies. For this week’s post, I made a video showing how to make your own pajama pants. In the video below the pajama pants, I made are for my daughter. She loves them by the way. Pajama pants are something you can make using different types of fabrics and styles. Whatever you like. It has been a long week for me already with getting the kids back to school. I am so ready for the weekend it’s not even funny. I have been working hard on getting content for my shop. Back To School Survival Kit!

Hey Everyone,

I don’t know why I never thought to do this for my kids before, but I am glad I decided to do it this year. I made a full survival kit for my daughter and just basic needs for my son. I put a little more in my daughters kit because she has more needs than my son. As well, he has already takes most of the things he needs to middle school already. As you see the video you will see why she has more. If you like these make sure you leave me a comment. Gathering Foot vs Ruffler Foot!

I have been busy working on updating some of my older not so good quality videos on my YouTube channel. This being one of them. I initially didn’t think it was a difference between the two but after purchasing both of them I realized I was wrong. There are things the ruffler foot can do that the gathering foot cannot. Both are great extras to have on hand with your sewing machine. One thing they do have in common is they making sewing ruffles and pleats a lot easier. Safe Sex Talk With Teens

It’s not always easy to talk to our teens about sex. Let’s face it who wants their children having sex as teens, to begin with! I know I don’t. But then again I am not oblivious to things either. Rather than trying to ignore the fact that my sons may be engaging in underage sex. I accept it and make sure to arm them with all the knowledge they need. Mainly, safe sex with regards to condoms, their girlfriends on birth control as well as sexually transmitted diseases as well as consent. I talk about a few of these things in my video below.
