I made this simple hair bow tutorial for one of my YouTube viewers. This tutorial is simple and easy and can be altered to fit your needs. I really like the combination of grosgrain ribbon and glitter it adds a little something extra to the bows. I show 2 different ways in the video below on how to put the bows together. If you have any questions about the video or would like to share your projects with me please do so in the comments.
I really enjoyed making these tombstones for Halloween out of boxes I had laying around the house. I actually never realized it would be so simply and easy to make them. Even better, once it stops raining and being wet here I can spray paint them and they will look so much better. In the meantime, I hope you like this tutorial. If you try them make sure to share your pictures with me, I would love to see them. Make sure to watch the video to the end.
If this DIY is not for you then check out some items I found on Amazon.
I always love getting into the fall season when I get to create tons of crafts. It’s just something about the cool weather that makes me want to create. It is slightly early to be thinking about Halloween but, I just can’t help myself. Below is a video showcasing just 2 simple ideas that I had to decorate lollipops. These tutorials are fun for adults and kids alike. I hope you like them too. Also, I provide step by step instructions on how to assemble the crafts.
You can check out how to make the spider legs for the lollipops in the video below.
Today I wanted something chocolate but healthy. As well I have been thinking of all the issues my children are having with stomach issues and food sensitivities. And I wanted to make something that wouldn’t bother their poor little bellies. So, I came across a recipe with only for ingredients that had no flour or granulated sugar. The best part of all I had all the ingredients at home already. Wonderful! One less trip to the grocery store. I did change a few things in the recipe and will be changing a few things the next time I make them. This time I use special dark cocoa powder instead of regular and I added a splash of pure vanilla extract to them. Below is the quick video with all the information you need to make these brownies for yourself. As well I will leave the ingredients below the video. Comment and let me know if you make them and how yours turned out. Also if you alter the recipe let me know what you changed.
4 Ingredient Sweet Potato Brownies
1 cup mashed sweet potato
1/2 cup nut butter
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
Bake in the oven on 350 degrees for 20 minutes is the recommended time. However, if you have a slower cooking oven I suggest letting bake for more time.
I’ve had these items sitting in my house for over a week trying to decide rather I was going to do a haul or not. So I decided I would. Check out what I got in the video below. What are your favorite items from the haul?
As fall approaches its time to start breaking out with the warm and fuzzies. For this week’s post, I made a video showing how to make your own pajama pants. In the video below the pajama pants, I made are for my daughter. She loves them by the way. Pajama pants are something you can make using different types of fabrics and styles. Whatever you like. I try to stick with fabrics I know my kids and I will love sleeping in. After you watch the video try this tutorial for yourself. Don’t forget to let me know how they turned out.
It has been a long week for me already with getting the kids back to school. I am so ready for the weekend it’s not even funny. I have been working hard on getting content for my shop. These felt flowers are one of the many things that will be available for sell on hairbows and headbands. If you are like me and like to create. This video is simple and easy. You will be making a ton of these felt flowers in no time. If not, I will be announcing when my shop will be updated with all the new lovely pieces I plan on adding. I hope you like them.
I don’t know why I never thought to do this for my kids before, but I am glad I decided to do it this year. I made a full survival kit for my daughter and just basic needs for my son. I put a little more in my daughters kit because she has more needs than my son. As well, he has already takes most of the things he needs to middle school already. As you see the video you will see why she has more. If you like these make sure you leave me a comment. Also, if you make these for your kids for back to school share some of your ideas with us so more parents can get ideas of what to pack in their kids survival/emergency kits.
I have been busy working on updating some of my older not so good quality videos on my YouTube channel. This being one of them. I initially didn’t think it was a difference between the two but after purchasing both of them I realized I was wrong. There are things the ruffler foot can do that the gathering foot cannot. Both are great extras to have on hand with your sewing machine. One thing they do have in common is they making sewing ruffles and pleats a lot easier. Watch the video below to see what each one can do. If you would like to purchase them for yourself check out the Amazon links below
